After watching Blue Lock, I can honestly say it’s one of the most unique football anime I’ve seen. What caught my attention from the very beginning was how different it feels from most sports series. Instead of focusing mainly on teamwork, it puts a lot of emphasis on individual ambition and the desire to become the best.

The biggest strength of Blue Lock is the intensity of its matches and the competition between the players. Each character has a unique personality and playing style, which makes every game exciting and unpredictable. Isagi’s development throughout the story is also one of the highlights, as you can clearly see his growth and improvement over time.

When it comes to the manga, the artwork is outstanding. Many panels are incredibly detailed and do a great job of capturing the energy and excitement of the matches. In my opinion, the manga handles these moments even better than the anime.

However, the anime is not perfect. One of its main weaknesses is the inconsistent animation quality. Some scenes look fantastic, while others feel less polished, especially during important moments. For a series that relies heavily on the excitement of football matches, this can be a little disappointing.

Another issue is that some characters receive less attention after their introduction, while the story continues to focus on a smaller group of players. Also, if you’re looking for a completely realistic football anime, Blue Lock may not be the best choice since it often prioritizes dramatic competition and character growth over realism.

Overall, Blue Lock was a very enjoyable experience for me. It may not be flawless, but its exciting matches, memorable characters, and unique concept make it easy to keep watching. If I had to choose between the manga and the anime, I would give the edge to the manga, but the anime is still worth watching for its energy and entertainment value.
