HxH isn’t just sum adventure anime, every arc feels like it’s exploring something different from friendship, humanity, power, purpose, and more

what really makes it stick with you are the characters and the moments that genuinely hit hard, from the very first hunter exam (Gon meeting Killua, Kurapika, and Leorio for the first time) to the Phantom Troupe showing up, and when Gon completely losing himself after what happened to Kite…that scene is still one of the darkest and most emotional moments i’ve seen in anime.

it’s one of those shows that starts off feeling like a pretty standard shonen but the further it gets the deeper and darker it becomes.
OGs know this wasn’t just another anime, it was kind of a part of growing up.
so those who plan to watch but aren’t sure, you’re missing out on Gon on Hisako so stop thinking and watch trust.
